Ford F150 Heater Blowing Cold Air. Recently when i press the heated seat icon for the driver's seat on the sync display, it blows cold air instead. If both of the hoses are hot, the problem is on the cabin side of the firewall.
My 2011 f150 a/c is not blowing cold all the time. Just recently my f150 only blows hot air out of the vents even if the temperature slider is on cool. Keeping a funnel full of coolant on the radiator, run the engine at 2,500 rpm for 10 minutes or so.
If Both Of The Hoses Are Hot, The Problem Is On The Cabin Side Of The Firewall.
Verify coolant flow through the heater core loop (feel the hoses under the hood). If the heater has stopped working in your f150, this process has failed in one way or another. If not, the refrigerant may not be charged up.
It's Inconvenient On These Cold Minnesota Days.
Most of the time, when your f150's air isn't blowing cold enough, it is going to be a lack of refrigerant causing the problem. Heater is blowing but it is blowing cold air. My 2011 f150 a/c is not blowing cold all the time.
Use A Freestanding Funnel To Fill Radiator And Overflow Tank, Using Bleeder Screw If It Exists.
My 2014 f150 fx4 is doing the exact same thing. I have a 2014 ford flex ecoboost with heated and cooled seats. Temp outside is below freezing.
My Heater Only Blows Cold Air A/C Works Fine.
Make sure that the tubing around the accumulator is getting cold. Turn the heater control to the highest temperature. Well, it's starting to get cold and my heater is working very intermittently.

We recommend having a professional recharge your a/c if it does end up being a coolant issue. 2013 f150 eco boost, hazard lights won't shut off; My heat was turned on, it was at 82deg for about 15.
